This popular program geared toward mature 11-16 year-olds is packed full of advice, guides, tips, and information based on real life experiences from kids and experts in the know.

Using HSI/ASHI’s Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) curriculum, this course consists of a mix of lecture, group discussion and hands-on practice which covers: safe job search, resumes, interviewing, professionalism, preparing for a job, decision-making, problem-solving, child development/ages and stages, age-appropriate activities, clear and constructive communication (with adults and children), dealing with difficult situations, basic care (diapering, toileting, feeding, burping, etc.), safety in and outside of the home/in the community, prevention of, how to respond to and how to get help in various emergencies, including basic first aid (infant/child/adult conscious choking and bandaging).

Includes handbook and completion card/certificate. Snacks provided, please bring NUT-FREE lunch and water bottle.

The cost for this 8-hr class is $150.00.
