This popular entertaining 2.5-hr workshop recommended for age 8 and up, is designed to prepare children to look after themselves during times adult supervision is unavailable. Important skills are learned through interactive lessons and role play that help to increase their prevention and awareness, as well as problem-solving skills, making both you and your child more confident when they are at home or in the community alone.

Information and practice includes: their rights and responsibilities when at home alone, responding safely to phone calls and unexpected visitors, keep constructively occupied, safety in and outside of the home/in the community, how to respond to and get help in an emergency;  class booklet included.​
