HSI - Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED (Health & Safety Institute/HSI) Blended Learning
THIS IS A BLENDED LEARNING CLASS, A HYBRID OF ONLINE LEARNING AND IN-PERSON PRACTICE.
The Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED class focuses on skills helping children and infants.
The purpose of the course if to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. This will prepare you for caring for a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive to take over.
This class is a Blended Learning Class (Hybrid) which gives students the ability to do the conceptual or knowledge basedtraining online, then attend an in-person skills session to receive hands on practice and live feedback.
DESIGNED FOR THOSE REQUIRING CERTIFICATION:
Teachers, After School Programs, Summer Camps, Social Workers, Foster/Adoptive Parents, Childcare Providers, Nannies, Babysitters and others.
LENGTH: Online class average 1 hours / Skills Session 1 hour 30 min.
**Participants will receive a link via email after booking a class. The link takes the participants to the Health Safety Institute. The online portion must be completed before attending the scheduled in-person session. Participants must register at least 48 hours in advance.**
COURSE COMPLETION CARD:
E-cards/E-certificates typically are emailed same-day or next day. Please allow consideration for weekends and holidays, where distribution of cards may take 1-2 business days. By request, a letter of proof of completion, can be supplied in lieu of receiving E-card.
